Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

How are original artworks delivered to me?

We use Sendle to deliver our original artworks. Parcels are sent on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please note that due to current restictions in place in Victoria and around Australia, delivery times may be longer than usual.

We package all works carefully to ensure safe travels to delivery address. If you would prefer to pick  up your artwork and live within 15km of Mount Martha, get in touch to discuss further.

Where can I view your original artworks?

If you would like to view an original artwork that is listed on the website in the flesh (or canvas), contact me to arrange a viewing date and time, in keeping with current restrictions in place in Victoria.

I also exhibit my work at local art and design shows - check the exhibition pages for past and upcoming art shows.

Do you do prints of your original art work?

Yes, most artwork is available in A4 and A3 format on cotton rag paper, We can also arrange prints on stretched canvas in a size to suit your space.

Where do you get your canvases and framing done?

I believe in supporting local where I can so most canvases, printing and framing is done right here in Mornington, Victoria.

Do you do commissioned artwork?

Absolutely! I love creating artworks that are just perfect for your space and can connect you to a place, a time or memory. get in touch and we can discuss - laurencharlton.art@bigpond.com.

I’d like to join a workshop but don’t live near the Mornington Peninsula.

No problem! Obviously with travel and isolation restrictions currently in place we are not running face to face workshops BUT we are conducting VIRTUAL workshops via the Zoom app. We send the supplies to you then join us online on the set date where I will guide you through the creative process.

I would love to do a workshop but I’m not creative.

But you ARE! My mission is to help you reconnect with your creativity. It is there - I promise. I provide a safe space and the time for you to create without fear of judgment. It’s lovely to finish with a masterpiece but I want you to immerse yourself in the process and create with courage.

You seem to have an obsession with earrings…where do you get them?

Ha, ha…well yes I do. Thanks for noticing! As mentioned above I love supporting local and am a huge fan of many Mornington Peninsula and other Australian makers. In particular though, Emeldo, Pink Nade and Meak Handmade are a couple of faves!
